1 · What every rental includes

Comprehensive motor insurance covering the vehicle, third-party property and third-party injury is included in every rate on this site — it is not an add-on and cannot be removed.

2 · The three tiers

Basic — included in the rate. You bear the standard policy excess in an at-fault incident.

Premium — +8% of the base rate. Your excess is substantially reduced.

Zero Excess — +15% of the base rate. You bear no excess: in a properly reported incident, you walk away owing nothing.

3 · What no tier covers

No tier covers: incidents while breaching the Rental Terms (unauthorised driver, influence of alcohol, unapproved interstate travel), interior damage from negligence, lost keys or documents, or tyre and rim damage from off-road use. These are charged at documented cost.

5 · In an incident

Call the 24/7 line first — before any roadside negotiation. We dispatch assistance, open the claim, and where the trip cannot continue we bring you a replacement vehicle. Reporting within 24 hours is a condition of excess protection.
